I am reinstalling the rear wheel on my project 96 GPZ 1100. I have a Kawasaki Service Manual for the bike. The problem I have is that the rear wheel fits loosely between the trailing arms of the swingarm. I have tried to figure this out for a while. I have reinspected the collars and their placement. I have tried to look through the service manual for what I might have forgotten to install. I seem to be about a quarter inch short in width. If I try to tighten the castle nut it stops about a quarter inch past the cotter pin hole. Does anyone have any picutes that will help me resolve this issue. I have 1 collarer spacer between the brake caliper mount and the right side bearing. There is a second spaver between the bearings in the wheel. There is a third collared spacer between the wheel and sprocket mount. Lastly I have a thick spacer between the spocket mount and the left arm of the swing arm. |
