Hi all,

The centre stand on my ZZR 600 keeps dropping............at least once a year I end up at the local dealer who duly charges me a tenner or so to fit a spring of some sort! Is it something I could fix myself please?

do you keep losing the spring ?? is that what your saying or is something catching it and forcing it off because they are normally hard to get off id take a look at where it connects and see if theres a problem there.
its only a spring mate theres nothing high tech about it and with a bit of fiddling about you can replace it yourself in about 5 mins.
thou you need to find out why its dropping all the time

Hi Bee, no there's nothing dropping off, the stand just sags towards the ground!
Just wondered if this was a common problem with a simple fix......

Had a look this evening and the springs are fine, the problem is the central rod through the stand has a bit missing off the spring end.............looks like back to the dealer yet again!
