Hi all, The centre stand on my ZZR 600 keeps dropping............at least once a year I end up at the local dealer who duly charges me a tenner or so to fit a spring of some sort! Is it something I could fix myself please? S |

do you keep losing the spring ?? is that what your saying or is something catching it and forcing it off because they are normally hard to get off id take a look at where it connects and see if theres a problem there. its only a spring mate theres nothing high tech about it and with a bit of fiddling about you can replace it yourself in about 5 mins. thou you need to find out why its dropping all the time |

Hi Bee, no there's nothing dropping off, the stand just sags towards the ground! Just wondered if this was a common problem with a simple fix...... S |

Had a look this evening and the springs are fine, the problem is the central rod through the stand has a bit missing off the spring end.............looks like back to the dealer yet again! S |
