Hi All, I am looking to buy my brother a bike and have come across a guy selling a 1994 Kawasaki zzr 1100. But I can just about ride a bike and wouldn't even consider taking it for a spin and I don't know anyone else who could. Are these known to be good bikes? Also are there any weaknesses or recurring issues with them that I could spot by listening or checking by hand? I know this seems strange but he has always wanted a zzr 1100 and it is his 40th so I would love to surprise him with it. Here is the ad - http://www.donedeal.co.uk/for-sale/motorbikes/2903795 I have talking to the guy and he is willing to deal on the price, what would you think is a fair price for the bike? I hope there is someone out there that can help me. Thanks in advance!! |

It does seem a bit pricey there are complete ones (no front 'fender') with lower milage if you shop around I've just seen a couple that are worth a look-see on Ebay. I know it's not every ones favourite but I done OK |

hiya buddy, ive got a 1995, zzr 1100, shes very quick , and can be a bit heavy with a full tank of fuel , its a good reliable bike being 17 years old she can still out run most things , u cant go wrong with one of these , mines only had 4 owners , 25000 miles , as good as new , heated grips , , double bubble screen , , and i only paid 1500 for her ,, my only gripe is "oops" front brakes ,,
