I have just managed to get hold of a W2 SS 650, I think it is 1968, however I an looking to track the origins of the bike, I suspect it may be an American import…

Can anyone help me…?

Have you tried on Kzrider.com or kawasakimotorcycle.org? because it an import youll have people with more information on those American sites. You could go on Kawasaki.com and put the chassis number in on the parts diagrams pages which could help you.

How about some photos? Its a nice looking bike and id doubt if theres more than 50 in this country.
