just picked up an H reg ZZR600 , not sure what to do with it. Is it worth fixing up or breaking for spares? Ive never had one before and know nothing about them |

save it, looks way to good to break it, good bikes and pretty quick for an old 600 |

On face value, it looks in good nick, although the front brake hanging off is interesting; if someone who doesn't know what they're doing has been trying to work on the bike & made a mess, then it could be a waste, in this case, if someone has botched a pad change, they could've made a mess off the piston seals. I'd suggest (Assuming you're capable with spanners etc) getting the fairing off & having a good poke about & see if it is mechanically sound. If it is, keep hold of it as they hold pretty good value, I've seen lower mileage versions going for the price of a decent SV650. If it's a compelte dud, you can either flog it to a breakers or pull it apart yourself & sell it that way. |

save her!!! looks to have been well looked after at some point, with that high screen on. have a look at the front calipers, if your fixing it up your gonna want to upgrade to a nice set of nissins, the folks over at zzr-international can help with that. anyway, I would always say save, im currently fixing an '82 gsx400e that I found in a rusty heap, and its not as bad as id feared :) |

might as well get some spare parts. Check out craigslist and try to pick up anything you can for the low... these are fun litle bikes to ride anyway. |
