Hi, just about completed cosmetic restoration on gpz600r 1986 model, looking realy smart. Bike fires up no problem with choke on but died when choke off, carbs could probably do with a clean, Can anyone give any hints,tips on the carb cleaning and set up and is there anything else o should ne checking engine wise on a bike this age. regards joe |

Hi just remove them and strip them down and be careful when removing the top black caps as there is a diaphragm in there if there not split or damaged they should be ok I have just bought a donor set of carbs for my one as three diaphragms were split and there 114.73 each only had the bike 3.5 weeks hope this Phil |
