Hello, my rx has a sticker under the seat which says that the bike has a carb ice kit fitted and to use i should pull/push the lever near the bottom yoke. Does anybody have any information on this, it says the system draws hot air from the exhaust, i cant seam to find a lever when i had a look (although i have not removed the fairing), the exhaust is a full stainless system so i am wondering if the ice kit was removed at some point. |

I don't know about the GPZ1000 RX but I had a GPX750R and it was recalled by Kawasaki in 1992 because there was a scare about the carbs freezing in cold weather it seemingly happened a couple of times to the water cooled bikes. My bike took water from the engine coollent to heat the carbs up that's what the upgrade carbs did hope this helps. Stevie |
