Hi everyone, I have a 1996 voyager XII and would like to know how hard it is to change oil in the front shocks?
I bought it a few months ago and the front end bottoms out over bumps.

Unless you want to change the fork seals you wont have to take the forks apart you only need to take them off so you can empty the oil out the top once you take the top off remember that part is sprung loaded if you fancied putting new fork seals in you need to remove the spring clip holding them in and there should be a allen bolt holding the two halfs together at the bottom. Its important to replace with the correct amount of oil the shop you get the oil from should know how much is required.

If the forks have a drain plug . See if you can drill tap the top sealing plug so you can fit a filler plug in it . Then in future you can drain and fill the forks easily .Very handy if you want to experiment with fork oil weights . Be care full removing this plug there's a very strong spring under it .
