Hi all, I have joined the forum to hopefully find others who have H1's and to get some help with a few technical issues I have with the ZXR.
I purchased the bike as a non runner and sat for 6 years in a garage, very dusty and looking very sorry for itself, it was a spares bike really but I needed a winter project to relieve the boredom of rubbish TV.......
I had always loved the look of the ZXR with its aggressive looks and Hoover tube air ducts but never owned one over the years, watching Scott Russell ride the bike so well all those years ago was probably where I first took an interest......
The bike has been bare framed stripped back to nothing, frame, swingarm, wheels have been powder coated. The brakes have been completely overhauled,New stainless steel pistons.every bearing and Bush on the entire bike has been replaced with genuine Kawasaki parts......
The bike is now back running but I have a few technical enquiries I will ask later if anyone has knowledge of these old beasts......
Regards Gary
