Hello. Just picked up an immaculate GPZ750 last week, been standing for a good few years, working on getting it up and running and MOT'd soon.

1st stupid question. Fuel tap has 3 positions; on, res and prime. I'm more used to on, res and off. What's prime for? The carbs are drained of fuel, do I use prime to start the bike and then switch to "on", and if so when do you switch over? |

not 100% sure myself but I would have thought prime would be to start up after having an empty tank/carbs.You would be better putting this post on the tech talk section for a response. |
